By Dr. Leslie Cotter
In this talk at Women of Whidbey (WOW) 2013 I explored how we often focus on the grand acts of courage and overlook the reality that most of our lives are a series of small acts of courage. I drew on stories from my experience working as a psychiatrist for people living with severe mental illness and addiction and as a mentor for teen girls.
You can watch my complete talk below.
What do you think? Tell me about small acts of courage in your life, or in the lives of people you know.
